i-Function® and Lunavi Launch LASSI-D™ Platform to Enable Early Detection of Cognitive Decline

Cheyenne, WY – (July 7, 2025) — i-Function®, a company focused on cognitive health and independent living, has partnered with Lunavi, a leading digital solutions provider, to bring the LASSI-D™(Loewenstein-Acevedo Scales of Semantic Interference and Learning – Digital) to market. This innovative digital tool enables earlier and more accessible detection of Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI), a precursor to Alzheimer’s disease.

LASSI-D™ transforms cognitive screening by replacing costly and time-intensive tests with a cloud-native, AI-enabled platform. Designed for both clinical and remote use, the tool incorporates high-accuracy voice recognition, multilingual support, and automated scoring to identify subtle cognitive changes before traditional measures can. It’s backed by research supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and represents a major step forward in digital health screening.

The company delivered a secure Microsoft Azure-based environment and integrated leading speech-to-text technologies from Google and Azure to enhance voice recognition accuracy to over 99%. Lunavi also employed agile development practices to rapidly iterate and incorporate real-time user feedback.
