For the new year, we've got some new questions queued up for Get to Know Green House Data. But for now, we're still wrapping up the last of our interviews from last year.
In case you're new to this series, Get to Know Green House Data introduces you to some of our great staff. This week, meet Cloud Services Senior Engineer Jim Taylor, who has written also a number of blogs for us in the past.
I work in the Cheyenne Office. I’m originally from Northern Colorado, just a few mile south of Cheyenne, WY.
I enjoy photography, blacksmithing, participating in our Mini Cooper car club, flying RC aircraft, motorcycle riding, and RVing.
I do all kinds. Wedding, senior portraits, landscape, macro, and model photography.
I enjoy model photography because of the lighting aspect, and because I can play with different types of setups and different effects. You can’t do that when you are shooting a wedding, for example.
Check out some of Jim's photography here.
32 years. I served the Department of Defense for over 30 years, retired from the USAF, and then became a Government Contractor. I've spent most of my career doing IT work.
I started writing security code for Apple IIe computers in High School.
I can’t say any have been a favorite or least favorite. I like the uniqueness of different projects.
I’m an officer in our local masonic lodge, I’m an officer in our car club, and I spend time with my wife and family doing RV adventures. We love to roam the Black Hills of South Dakota and try to visit several times a year.
Tea, Irish Breakfast.
